Roborowskii Hamster

The Roborowskii hamster comes from Russia, China and Kazakhstan and is an ideal pet if what we want is to enjoy watching him run around the wheel. It is very small, reaching just 5 centimeters in the adult stage.

Chinese Hamster

It is the hamster preferred by rodent lovers. The Chinese hamster is an exotic Asian hamster that, although we show it to you in brown, is more commonly gray.

It is larger than the roborowskii, thus measuring about 10 centimeters in length and we should only add that, in general, it is a very friendly and playful hamster. He will enjoy getting out of the cage and running around the house with you and it is even not surprising that he will take a lot of confidence in you and use your own body as a nest to sleep in.

His sweet and active character will win you over if you are looking for a small rodent with whom to spend time enjoying games and prizes.

Golden Hamster

The golden hamster comes from Syria and is a common specimen in most countries although surprisingly in the wild it is in endangered status.

It measures between 15 and 17 centimeters, depending on the sex of the animal, and we find ourselves before a beautiful, soft and hairy specimen. They tend to be nice to those who feed them regularly, but they need time to adapt beforehand.

Ideal for not too young children who want to enjoy this hamster playing because they are sociable and rarely do they bite.

Russian Hamster

The Russian hamster is a particularly docile and sociable pet, also recommended for slightly older children who want to have their first pet. It is not very big, it measures between 7 and 10 centimeters in length and therefore we must be careful when interacting with it.

As a peculiarity we will add that it is possible that it hibernates, and that is when they shed their fur in barely 16 hours and turn completely white.
