Not all dogs can parade in a beauty contest, unfortunately only some breeds accepted by the F. C. I. they can do it, at the end of this article we offer you a complete list with all the races that can do it
The Admission and Classification Commission may not admit some horses for just cause, such as illness or serious physical defect
All dogs entered in the contest will undergo a veterinary inspection prior to or during the contest
The dogs will be classified according to their age, physical form and even according to their abilities to compete
After the parade the dogs receive a classification: excellent, very good, good, sufficient, insufficient or not qualified
We must never manipulate the dog, insult / coerce / offend the judge etc
As you can see, the competitions organized by the Royal Spanish Canine Society are strict, as they are competitions with fixed regulations that cannot be modified or skipped. If your dog does not meet the requirements you will not be able to enter any official contest

The pedigree
One of the essential requirements to compete is that the dogs present their pedigree, that is, their family tree. The Royal Canine Society issues the Certificate of Aptitude for the Beauty Championship, thereby ensuring that all the dogs presented enjoy a high and formal level.
Setting up for the contest
Logically if you want to present your dog to a beauty contest, it will be necessary go to a dog groomer if you have no previous experience in it. The specific cuts for the breed and an exclusive treatment for such a special day are fundamental parts that will make your dog stand out more or less in the canine morphology contest.
You must bear in mind that in canine beauty contests the attitude and good character of the dog presented to the contest is also valued, your dog can be expelled if it shows an aggressive attitude, for example. Finally, comment that in canine beauty contests you must previously present all the required documentation and pay the registration fee.
