The Las Jaras animal residence was created in 1997. Servicios de Vanguardia en Veterinaria S. L. is the company that manages the residence and is in charge of offering a quality service for all its clients. The facilities have been designed to guarantee the welfare of the animals and provide an integral, complete and quality service. In total, the center has an area of 17,000 m2 in the middle of nature, away from human presence to avoid possible discomfort and stress in dogs, totally fenced and with surveillance 24 hours a day.
Las Jatas offers two different types of stay:
- Temporary Residence
- Long-stay residence
For both services, the center provides guests with top quality food with a customized nutrition plan, fresh and drinking water, daily walks, cleaning and hygiene, its own veterinary service and a lot of contact human. It should be noted that the residence has caregivers who live in the facility to care for the animals 24 hours a day.
On the other hand, dogs must meet a series of requirements to be able to hoste in Las Jaras:
- Have a he alth card.
- Be up to date on your vaccinations.
- Wear parasite protection.
The Las Jaras animal residence also has a social club, available to anyone who wants to sign up and enjoy its facilities with his furry companion. In addition, joint walks are organized around the center, veterinary advice is offered and much more.
However, the more social and caring side of Las Jaras is present in the project started in 2013 to collaborate with animal protection organizationsIn 2014 the activity was consolidated by having an average of 50 dogs housed in its facilities, and today they continue to fight to combat abandonment and help reduce the saturation of animal protection centers, which far exceed 100%..
