To do this, he rules out the use of punishment, shouting, physical violence and, ultimately, corrections, to make way for the understanding of canine behavior and the training of guardians. Because the concept of this methodology is more complex and the term "positive" may not quite define everything it implies, Noel prefers to call himself a 3rd generation dog trainer.
