The Hospital Veterinario Valencia Sur was born in 2012 as the first veterinary center in Spain to offer a service dedicated exclusively to referred cases. Likewise, it is mainly dedicated to 24-hour emergencies, which is why they are open 365 days a year. Different speci alties work and it is one of the reference centers in Europe and the United States. So much so, that more and more veterinary professionals rely on their experience when it comes to solving complex cases.
It has some fully equipped facilities, distributed in different spaces. The hospital, with 2,000 square meters, includes seven consulting rooms and four operating rooms. One of these operating rooms is enabled for endoscopy, laparoscopy and interventional procedures. Another is equipped to treat neurology and trauma cases, with its own intensive care unit. On the other hand, the diagnostic area is made up of more than 300 square meters, with a CT room, resonance, minimal surgery operating room, preparation room, radiology, ultrasound and radiological reports. And for added convenience, the center has a separate waiting room for guardians of hospitalized patients. It also has a private room with a bathroom and a living area for those cases in which it is necessary for guardians to stay with their animals.
