Red Shiba Inu
The red shiba inu is probably the best known coat color. It is a very intense tone that really favors this dog of Japanese origin.
Red is also present in other dog breeds of Japanese origin although you should know that the shiba inu is the oldest knownin the Japanese archipelago.
Shiba inu black and tan (black & tan)
The black and tan shiba inu is really popular and a trend, although honestly, we love all dogs equally, whether they are breeds or not. This type of fur combines black, fiery red and white with urajiro (which we will talk about at the end of the article.
Shiba inu cream (cream)
The cream shiba inu is very similar to the red shiba, only the intensity of the color varies, lowered, until it achieves a very sweet pastel cream tone. Although the cream shiba inu is not well known, it is really beautiful.
Shiba inu sesame (sesame)
There are three types of sesame that we can find in the Shiba Inu dog breed:
- Sesame: Black and white fur in proportion.
- Black sesame: Lots of black hair in contrast to white.
- Red Sesame: Lots of red hair along with black and white.
White Shiba Inu
Are you surprised to see a white shiba inu? Although on our site it seems to us that it is just as beautiful as the other shiba inu, the FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale) no accepts it in dog shows or beauty competitions that govern.
The urajiro of the shiba inu
If you are considering presenting your Shiba Inu to a dog show or contest, you should know that it is essential that your dog has the "urajiro". The urajiro has white hair in specific areas:
- On the side of the snout
- Under the jawbone
- In the throat
- On the chest
- In the womb
- Inside the queue
- Inside the legs
If your dog has it, you can have fun going to beauty contests, although you must first check the requirements to present your dog to the contest.
