Agility is a very fun and complete sport, suitable for all types of dogs over 18 months of age. Routes and types of obstacles
Agility courses have a wide variety of obstacles placed randomly on the ground where the competition is held. The number and variety of obstacles determine the degree of difficulty and speed to which the dog must submit. There is a defined time frame to complete the entire marked route in a specific order.
Agility Course Requirements
- Have a space of at least 24 x 40 meters. The track inside will be at least 20 x 40 meters.
- The length of the route will be between 100 and 200 meters and it will have around 15 or 20 obstacles (at least 7 will be hurdles).
- The size of the jumps will be proportional to the category of the dog participating in the competition.
