Naturkan is a company dedicated to dog training at home that operates in Álava, Asturias, Cantabria, Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya. Its mission is not only focused on carrying out its training work correctly, but it goes much further, trying to make society aware of respect for animals and promoting new legislation that benefits their rights. To do this, they allocate a part of their income to actions for such purposes, as well as to promote the adoption of abandoned dogs.
To achieve its mission, Naturkan has set the following objectives:
- There should be no abandoned dogs either on the streets or in shelters.
- That most dogs obtain a license recognized by official bodies that certifies that it is an educated dog and socially fit to live in society.
- Modify obsolete and unfair laws that prejudge dogs by their breed.
They try to achieve their goals by allocating part of their income, which they receive through their services as dog trainers and educators. Focusing now on these services, they work at home, so that the dog learns in the comfort of its usual environment. The first visit and consultation is free and without commitment hiring. To achieve the best results, they use positive reinforcement, completely avoiding all those techniques based on violence or that may harm the animal. At Natrukan they offer:
